Recognizing exceptional contributions to the Special Forces Regiment and the Special Forces Association
The Saint Philip Neri Award is presented annually to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Special Forces Regiment and the Special Forces Association. There are three grades of the award: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Saint Philip Neri awardees must be Special Forces Qualified individuals.
Gold Award: Presented to selected individuals with a demonstrated record of exceptional service to the Regiment and the SFA over a thirty-year period.
Silver Award: Presented to selected individuals with a demonstrated record of exceptional service to the Regiment and the SFA over a twenty-year period.
Bronze Awards: This year, we anticipate being able to recognize five individuals with Bronze level Awards.
Example write-ups and information on the Saint Philip Neri Award are available in the Teamhouse Document Library in a folder titled Saint Philip Neri Information.
The Heritage Award is a new award established in 2025. The first award will be presented at the 2026 SFA Convention.
The award recognizes individuals who do not qualify for the Saint Philip Neri Award due to either not being SF Qualified or not having had a twenty- or thirty-year impact on the Regiment and the SFA.
Associate and Honorary Members, as well as SF Qualified members, are eligible for this award.
